Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Software Engineer II / III professionals to design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications and cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with C#, modern .NET, Microsoft Azure, APIs, integrations, Angular and/or React, SQL Server, and Azure cloud services.

This role also requires experience with AI-enabled software engineering and application development, including tools and technologies such as GitHub Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, prompt engineering, AI-assisted testing, code generation, debugging, and AI-driven developer productivity workflows.

The successful candidate will work closely with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to transform business requirements into scalable, secure, resilient, and production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications using C# and modern .NET.

• Build scalable and secure applications using Microsoft Azure cloud services.

• Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.

• Design and implement solutions using Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, and Azure SQL.

• Develop front-end applications using Angular and/or React.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery processes.

• Develop automated unit, integration, and functional testing solutions.

• Implement application monitoring, observability, logging, and operational best practices.

• Apply security controls throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Leverage AI-assisted software engineering tools to improve development productivity and software quality.

• Develop AI-enabled applications using technologies such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, and related AI services.

• Apply prompt engineering and AI-assisted approaches for code generation, debugging, testing, documentation, and developer productivity.

• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Participate in architecture and code reviews.

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

• Support application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards, development practices, and SDLC processes.

Required Qualifications

Software Engineer II

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong hands-on C# / .NET development experience.

• Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure cloud implementation experience.

• Experience developing enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, and cloud-native solutions.

• Experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, and Azure SQL.

• Experience with Angular and/or React.

• Strong SQL Server / Azure SQL experience.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

• Experience with AI-enabled application development.

• Active Microsoft Azure certification above Fundamentals level.

Software Engineer III

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong hands-on C# / .NET development experience.

• Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure cloud implementation experience.

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, and cloud-native solutions.

• Experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, and Azure SQL.

• Experience with Angular and/or React.

• Strong SQL Server / Azure SQL experience.

• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, observability, security, and production support.

• Experience with AI-enabled application development.

• Active Microsoft Azure certification above Fundamentals level.

Azure Certification Requirement

Candidates must hold an active Microsoft Azure certification above the Fundamentals level.

Examples include:

• Azure Developer Associate

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert

• Azure AI Engineer Associate

• DevOps Engineer Expert

• Other comparable Microsoft Azure role-based certifications

AZ-900 / Azure Fundamentals alone does not meet this requirement.

AI / Emerging Technology Experience

Candidates should have practical experience applying AI within software engineering or application development, such as:

• GitHub Copilot

• Azure AI Foundry

• Azure OpenAI

• Generative AI

• Prompt engineering

• AI-assisted coding

• AI-enabled testing

• AI-based debugging

• Code generation

• AI-powered developer productivity

• Integration of AI capabilities into enterprise applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the financial services industry.

• Experience with cloud modernization initiatives.

• Experience modernizing legacy applications to Azure/cloud-native architectures.

• Experience with enterprise API and integration platforms.

Work Location & Interview

Wilmington, Delaware

This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days onsite per week.

An onsite interview is required.

Candidates should be comfortable with the onsite schedule before applying.
