Job Description
A growing software company is seeking a Software Engineer to join its development team and help build customer-facing applications used by enterprise and government organizations. This role will focus on developing and enhancing business-critical applications across desktop and mobile environments.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with C#, .NET, and WPF development, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and thrives in a collaborative Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance software applications and platform features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using best practices and design patterns.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
  • Create and maintain unit tests to support application quality and reliability.
  • Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, reviews, and team collaboration.
  • Support client-facing demonstrations and technical discussions as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong experience with .NET and C#.
  • Experience building desktop applications using WPF.
  • Experience working with REST/SOAP web services, XML, and JSON.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns such as MVVM.
  • Experience working through the full software development lifecycle.
  • Experience writing unit tests and maintaining application quality.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with .NET Core.
  • Experience with Xamarin Forms or cross-platform mobile development.
  • Experience with XAML.
  • Familiarity with NUnit, NSubstitute, or similar testing frameworks.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or government-focused applications.
