Job Description

Summit Express, LLC seeks a Human Resources Generalist / Office Administrator to support our fast-paced transportation and warehousing operation. This role manages day-to-day HR activities including recruiting, onboarding, maintaining HR records, coordinating benefits, and supporting payroll. You will also handle front-office administration such as phones, correspondence, scheduling, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities while supporting a customer-first, team-focused culture in a time-critical logistics environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding for office and operations roles
  • Maintain HR files, HRIS data, and personnel records with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support payroll processing, timekeeping review, and attendance tracking
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and employee questions
  • Coordinate office operations including phones, mail, supplies, and vendor relationships
  • Draft and maintain HR documents, forms, and standard operating procedures
  • Support employee relations by fielding questions and escalating issues as needed
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
  • Schedule interviews, meetings, and training sessions for staff
  • Partner with leadership to support culture, engagement, and internal communication
