The company is introducing new products at pace and is investing heavily in quality and operational excellence — making this a pivotal time to join.<br />The RoleAs Quality Systems Engineer, you'll play a key part in ensuring the continued effectiveness and development of the Quality Management System (QMS).

You'll lead internal audits, support external audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify non-conformities, coordinate corrective actions, and maintain compliance with ISO9001:2015 and related quality standards.This role combines auditing, system management, and hands-on problem-solving, offering great scope to make a visible impact in a growing and technically advanced business.<br />Key Responsibilities•Plan, perform and report on internal QMS audits in line with ISO9001:2015 requirements.•Coordinate and support third-party and customer audits.•Manage non-conformity reporting, root cause analysis and corrective actions.•Maintain and improve the QMS, including document control and change management systems.•Update and develop procedures and training materials for quality system processes.•Deliver training and inductions for new starters and refresher sessions across teams.•Report key quality metrics and support management reviews.•Contribute to new product introduction (NPI) quality audits.•Provide day-to-day quality system support to teams across manufacturing, engineering and R&amp;D.<br />About YouYou'll be a detail-driven quality professional with strong auditing experience and a structured approach to systems and process improvement.

You'll enjoy working across departments to embed best practice and maintain compliance in a dynamic, engineering-led environment.<br />Skills &amp; Experience Required•Experienced internal auditor to ISO9001:2015 (Lead Auditor qualification desirable).•Proven experience in a quality management or systems role within a manufacturing or engineering setting.•Solid understanding of QMS principles and document control.•Excellent organisational, communication and influencing skills.•Analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving.•Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure.<br />Desirable•Degree in engineering, manufacturing or business discipline.•Experience within automotive, electronics or similar quality-led industries.•Membership of a relevant professional body.
