Technical Service Engineer | Insulation | National

We're currently recruiting for a manufacturer of acoustic, fire, and thermal insulation for building facades and fire-stopping products. They're looking for a Technical Service Engineer to join their team. This is a hybrid role based at home and in the office in Maesteg.

• Provide timely and accurate technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders on passive fire protection cavity barriers and firestops with a primary focus on the building envelope.
• Collaborate with project management teams to address technical queries and provide solutions aligned with the project requirements and product specifications.
• Analyse technical specifications, drawings, and project plans to advise on the best product selection, standards, and regulations.

• Experience in a technical role, preferably passive fire protection.
• Experience in technical writing, including the creation of technical reports.
• Construction background.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
