Salesforce QA Automation+Manual Engineer || Remote role

 

 

 

Position Summary:

The team is seeking a QA Automation Engineer who can support testing efforts while occasionally leveraging business analyst and Salesforce administrator skills. This is a highly collaborative Scrum team environment where the ideal candidate will be comfortable wearing multiple hats and supporting the delivery team wherever needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test scripts for Salesforce applications.

• Create and validate test scenarios based on acceptance criteria, including functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, negative, and UAT testing.

• Partner closely with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, process flows, integrations, and acceptance criteria.

• Identify, document, triage, and track defects using JIRA.

• Support quality assurance efforts within sprint cycles and validate defect fixes.

• Assist with Salesforce administrative functions, including user maintenance, reports, dashboards, workflows, and routine configuration changes.

• Provide occasional training and support to business users and stakeholders.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of technical experience.

• Strong experience with manual software testing and QA methodologies.

• Experience creating acceptance criteria around business processes, data models, and integrations.

• Exposure to Salesforce Service Cloud, Apex, Salesforce test classes, or Salesforce administration.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working within fast-paced two-week sprint cycles.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with test automation frameworks.

• Understanding of Apex and Salesforce test classes.

• Knowledge of Java, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with performance or stress testing.
