About This Role

What success looks like in this role: This Technical Field Engineer ensures that our federal government client's systems stay secure, reliable, and mission ready through expert on site technical support and strong client engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Install, diagnose, maintain, and service computer related products, including desktop/laptop computers, printers, and peripherals.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, network, and software issues.
  • Perform software and hardware diagnostics and build/upgrades PCs.
  • Support a corporate Windows environment, including printing installation, deployment, configuration, and disposal.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout all interactions.
  • Perform test and tag activities (highly regarded).
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a deskside support environment.
  • Proven experience performing fault investigation, triage, and resolution.
  • Experience with desktop, server, hardware, network, and software installation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with desktop support in a corporate Windows environment.
  • NV1 or NV2 security clearance required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Test and tag experience is highly regarded.
