We are currently seeking Sr. Pre-sales Consultant, who will support the Government Business team in evaluating, and responding to government tenders and RFPs. The role involves preparing technical proposals, ensuring compliance with tender requirements, coordinating with internal teams, and assisting in bid strategy development.

The candidate will work closely with sales, engineering, and Vendors teams to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions for government and public sector opportunities.



Job Description : Manager Presales (Hardware products only)


Location : Mumbai (Goregaon)


Key responsibilities:

Responsibilities


  • Solution Design & Delivery:
  • Conduct site surveys, analyse customer requirements, and design customized solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Develop Bill of Materials (BoM), plan solution architecture, and ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards.
  • Create and deliver compelling proof of concept (PoC) demonstrations, addressing key client pain points.
  • Ensure that proposed solutions adhere to the statement of work (SoW) and deliver maximum value to the customer.
  • Technical & Market Analysis:
  • Analyze Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents to understand client requirements and perform fit-gap analysis with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to ensure alignment between the customer's requirements and the technical capabilities of the proposed solution.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to refine solution approaches.
  • Sales Collaboration & Deal Closure:
  • Work closely with sales teams to ensure successful closure of deals by providing technical expertise, support, and addressing any concerns.
  • Assist in drafting proposals and providing detailed technical input for client presentations.
  • Support sales in responding to technical inquiries during the sales cycle.
  • Client Feedback & Product Development:
  • Act as a liaison between clients and product management teams to convey product feedback, feature requests, and pain points.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap by aligning client needs with future product enhancements.
  • Technical Expertise & Leadership:
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of AIDC (Automatic Identification and Data Capture) hardware, cloud technologies, IT infrastructure, and enterprise software design principles.
  • Provide technical guidance on Microsoft's technology stack including Windows Server, .Net, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure, ensuring solutions leverage modern IT frameworks.
  • Continuous Improvement & Market Awareness:
  • Keep abreast of technological advancements, emerging market trends, and competitor offerings to refine and adapt the solution design approach.
  • Participate in industry conferences, product training, and market research initiatives to enhance expertise.


Qualifications


  • Proven experience in designing enterprise solutions involving hardware and IT infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Should possess a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Should have prior experience within AIDC hardware & software solutions.
  • Experience working on RFI/RFP processes and conducting fit-gap analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into client-friendly language.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence product direction based on client needs.
  • Should have strong presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a client-centric approach.
