role summaryWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading company in the transport industry. This role offers the opportunity to drive growth and make a significant impact within a dynamic sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Development Manager, specifically within the transport industry.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A proven track record of managing and achieving sales revenue budgets.
- $130,000 - $150,000 + Super.
- Salary packaging.
