Job Description
Quality-AI is hiring Technical Moderators to support an exciting Ground Truth Data Collection project focused on the development of next-generation AI, Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and technology. You don''''t need to be an AI expert—we''''re looking for tech-savvy, motivated, and dependable individuals who are comfortable learning new tools, guiding participants, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details
- Location: Redmond, WA – Onsite
- Start Date: September 14
- Duration: Through the end of the year
- Pay: $25/hour W2
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
Schedule – Important
The project will begin with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule for approximately the first month.
Starting around October 28, the schedule will change to:
Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
Candidates must be able to commit to the 2:30 PM–11:00 PM schedule beginning in late October.
What You''''ll Do
As a Technical Moderator, you''''ll help collect high-quality data used to train and improve advanced AI and immersive technology systems.
- Guide participants through structured motion-capture and data-collection sessions.
- Operate specialized scanning and data-capture equipment.
- Prepare participants, explain procedures, manage intake/NDA documentation, and answer questions.
- Set up and maintain the capture environment, including lighting and staging.
- Monitor sessions and troubleshoot participant or technical issues in real time.
- Upload collected data and maintain accurate documentation.
- Safely handle and maintain proprietary equipment and information.
- Communicate project updates, issues, and improvement ideas to the operations team.
- Adapt quickly to changing project requirements and technology.

Additional Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, operations, data collection, QA, or a related field.
- Comfortable working directly with people and providing clear instructions.

- Comfortable learning and using new technology.
- Interest in AI/ML, AR/VR, or emerging technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and remain calm under pressure.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Forms, SharePoint, or Power Automate.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
