Field Validation Engineer

Field Validation Engineer in Cupertino, CA
You will be responsible for running tests in the field and post-processing in the lab. After the field tests are complete, you will come back to the office and do first-level analysis of the tests. You must have experience with Cellular technologies and have strong scripting experience skills. You will be provided a Driver and a vehicle for field testing.
Travel: During the work week, you will be in the field for 2-3 days and doing lab analysis for 2-3 days. You will travel to a city out of state once a quarter for 1 week.
Requirements:

• Must have a strong understanding of wireless technologies: Cellular/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/GPS Cellular technologies (5G/4G/LTE) strongly preferred.
• Must have strong scripting experience with Python
• Hands-on experience testing devices in field or lab
• Solid experience in device setup, test execution, post-processing, first level analysis and report generation.
• Good problem-solving skills and able to drive multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to travel local and non-local in short notice

Duration: 12+ months
Pay Range: $50-$60/HR (DOE)
