Role Overview

Incedo is seeking a .NET Architect with deep expertise in AWS and Angular, and strong experience in Wealth Management / Capital Markets domain. This role combines architecture leadership, client consulting, and delivery ownership to drive digital transformation for wealth management platforms.

You will partner with clients to modernize platforms such as portfolio management systems, advisor platforms, client onboarding, and digital wealth experiences, leveraging cloud-native and scalable architectures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture & Engineering Leadership

• Define end-to-end architecture for wealth management platforms using .NET Core, AWS, Angular
• Drive modern architecture patterns:
• Microservices & API-first design
• Event-driven & domain-driven design (DDD)
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, compliant, and high performing
• Lead architecture governance, design reviews, and coding best practices

2. Wealth Management Domain Solutioning

• Design solutions across:
• Client onboarding & KYC workflows
• Portfolio management & rebalancing systems
• Advisory platforms & digital wealth portals
• Trading integrations & reporting platforms
• Understand and incorporate:
• Regulatory requirements (SEC, MiFID II, GDPR)
• Data privacy & compliance standards
• Integrate with market data providers, custodians, and trading systems

3. Cloud Architecture (AWS)

• Architect and implement solutions using:
• Compute: Lambda, ECS/EKS, EC2
• Integration: API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS/SQS
• Data: RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora
• Storage: S3
• Enable cloud-native transformations and legacy modernization
• Drive resiliency, high availability, and disaster recovery design
• Optimize cloud cost and performance

4. Frontend Architecture (Angular)

• Lead advisor and client-facing UI development using Angular (v10+)
• Build rich dashboards, portfolio views, analytics, and reporting UI
• Define reusable UI components, state management (NgRx), and UX standards
• Ensure responsive, high-performance digital experiences

5. Consulting & Client Engagement

• Engage with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT leadership
• Translate wealth management business requirements into scalable tech solutions
• Lead architecture discussions, workshops, and solution proposals
• Act as a trusted advisor for digital transformation

6. Delivery Leadership

• Lead cross-functional agile teams (developers, QA, DevOps)
• Ensure on-time delivery with high engineering quality
• Mentor teams and build technical capability within the account
• Manage risks, dependencies, and architectural trade-offs

7. Pre-Sales & Practice Development

• Support RFPs, solutioning, and proposal development in wealth management space
• Build domain-specific accelerators (e.g., onboarding frameworks, portfolio engines)
• Contribute to Incedo’s Wealth & Capital Markets practice growth

Required Technical Skills

Backend

• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API
• Experience building microservices & distributed systems
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture (Kafka/SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ)

AWS Cloud

• Hands-on expertise in:
• Lambda, ECS/EKS, EC2
• API Gateway, EventBridge
• RDS, DynamoDB
• S3
• Expertise in IAM, VPC design, encryption, cloud security
• Experience with serverless & containerized architectures

Frontend

• Strong hands-on experience with Angular (v10+)
• Proficiency in TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with NgRx or similar state management

DevOps

• CI/CD: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
• IaC: Terraform / CloudFormation
• Docker, Kubernetes
• Monitoring: CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus (preferred)

Domain Skills (Mandatory/Preferred)

• Strong understanding of:
• Wealth management lifecycle
• Portfolio & asset management concepts
• Investment products: equities, fixed income, mutual funds, derivatives
• Exposure to financial data models, pricing, and risk analytics
• Experience with client reporting and regulatory compliance systems

Leadership & Consulting Skills

• Proven experience in client-facing consulting roles
• Ability to manage ambiguity and drive structured outcomes
• Strong stakeholder management & influencing skills
• Experience leading distributed global teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Good to Have

• Experience in data platforms, analytics, or AI-driven advisory
• Knowledge of FIX protocol or trading systems integration
• Certifications:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• TOGAF (preferred)
