SharePoint Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract

Important Requirements

  • Must be local to Metro Atlanta, GA
  • Tax Clearance Letter is required at the time of submission
  • Hybrid schedule (combination of onsite and remote work)
  • Candidates must successfully pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting
  • Candidates must be compliant with Georgia state tax obligations

Position Overview

Client is seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of SharePoint-based applications and enterprise collaboration solutions. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to design, develop, test, deploy, and support SharePoint solutions that improve business operations and user experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SharePoint development, workflow implementation, application support, and web-based solution delivery within enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain SharePoint-based applications and portals
  • Configure and customize SharePoint solutions, including both front-end and back-end components
  • Collaborate with business users, stakeholders, and IT leadership to gather and analyze requirements
  • Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and deploy SharePoint solutions
  • Implement and maintain SharePoint workflows and business process automation
  • Support COTS applications built on SharePoint platforms
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing production support
  • Create technical documentation, process flows, diagrams, and solution designs
  • Develop proof-of-concept solutions and recommend best practices
  • Ensure application security, data confidentiality, and compliance standards are maintained

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on SharePoint development experience
  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting web-based applications
  • Strong experience with SharePoint Designer
  • Experience with SharePoint Foundation and SharePoint workflow development
  • Knowledge of SharePoint administration, content management, and site configuration
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, error-free solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with .NET development (C#, VB.NET)
  • Microsoft SharePoint Development certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Experience with Lanteria HR Software
  • Previous experience supporting government or public-sector environments
