Analyst Programmer (.NET / Oracle / Angular) - Public Sector

We're looking for an experienced Analyst Programmer to join a county government technology team in West Palm Beach, FL. You'll help develop and maintain an enterprise web application used for zoning and permitting. This is a long-term, full-time contract role (40 hours per week) inside an established public-sector IT organization. It starts as soon as possible and runs through September 2027, with possible extension.

Required Experience

• 6+ years of Microsoft .NET development (C# or VB.Net)
• 6+ years of SQL development (PL/SQL, T-SQL or ANSI SQL) on Oracle or SQL Server
• 2+ years of Angular (version 4 or later), Bootstrap and single-page application (SPA) development
• 2+ years of Web API 2 and Entity Framework 5.0 or later
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in all of the following:
  • .NET Framework 4.5 or later, object-oriented design, the ASP.NET page life cycle and AJAX
  • JavaScript, jQuery and the AJAX Control Toolkit
  • HTML, CSS3, cross-browser development and the DOM
  • Oracle 19c or later, or SQL Server 2012 or later: DDL/DML, packages, stored procedures, functions and SQL performance tuning

Nice to Have

• TFS 2013 or later: branching, build queuing, web deployment and change control
• TOAD, large Oracle databases, and exporting data to PDF, Excel and text
• Python and PHP
• ASP.NET MVC or Razor Pages
• Experience with AI tools or AI-assisted development, especially in government or the public sector

Additional Details

• Pay rate depends on experience.
• Local candidates are strongly preferred, and the interview will be in person.
• The selected candidate must pass a fingerprint-based FDLE/FBI criminal background check.
