THE ROLE — WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO This isn't a tick-box maintenance role. You'll be the expert on site — diagnosing complex faults, optimising high-spec systems, and building genuine trust with high-end clients. You'll own your diary for PPM visits, and have the full backing of our technical team when you need it. Day-to-day you'll be: Servicing and maintaining integrated fire and security systems across commercial, retail and luxury residential sites Diagnosing and resolving complex faults with an analytical, methodical approach Carrying out regular system performance checks and optimisations Completing accurate service reports and compliance documentation WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Essential: Proven field experience in service engineering — 5 years minimum Fire & Security systems preferred Knowledge of NSI/SSAIB and BAFE standards Strong fault-finding ability and comfort reading technical diagrams and manuals Excellent client-facing communication and professionalism Full UK Driving Licence -no more than 6 points Health & safety records, ECS/CSCS card NVQ Apprenticeship or equivalent industry qualification FIA or equivalent certification Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check Desirable: Advanced diagnostic techniques and fault-finding best practice Experience with remote monitoring platforms and software tools Working knowledge of current British Standards and compliance requirements WHY ENGINEERS CHOOSE THIS COMPANY: ??
