Job Description

Role Summary
The Security Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring adherence to security policies, regulations, and standards across the organization. This role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring compliance activities, as well as collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to uphold information security protocols. The position requires a detail-oriented professional capable of conducting audits, risk assessments, and supporting regulatory compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain security compliance policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws and standards.
  • Conduct system audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to security frameworks such as HIPAA, HITRUST, and other relevant regulations.
  • Perform risk assessments and support information security initiatives related to business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Manage documentation related to security compliance activities and audit findings.
  • Work with external vendors and partners during compliance reviews and assessments.
  • Maintain knowledge of current security regulations and industry best practices.
  • Support internal training and awareness initiatives related to security compliance.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Utilize compliance management tools, such as ServiceNow, to track and document security activities and issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience in compliance, legal, regulatory, or information security roles.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in compliance, regulatory, legal, or IT security functions.
  • Experience conducting system audits, security risk assessments, and working with external vendors.
  • Familiarity with IT compliance programs and frameworks like HIPAA, HITRUST, and relevant laws/regulations.
  • Prior experience with ServiceNow or similar compliance management platforms.
  • Knowledge of information security management standards and frameworks.
  • Professional security management certification such as CISSP or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Availability to work remotely with a reliable internet connection and suitable work environment.

Publishing Pay Range: $38.00 - $41.00 Hourly 
This position is based in remote work arrangement and can be performed from an approved location.
