Full-Stack .NET Modernization Developer

Introduction:

This position is for a Full-Stack .NET Modernization Developer who will be responsible for migrating legacy ASP.NET applications to modern .NET frameworks (6, 7, 8, or 10). The role involves hands-on experience in .NET development, Azure deployment, and working in Agile environments.

Responsibilities:

• Migrate legacy ASP.NET applications to modern .NET frameworks.
• Work on production SQL Server tasks such as stored procedures, T-SQL tuning, and data cleanup.
• Utilize Azure services like App Services, Function Apps, and deployment pipelines.
• Deliver software in Agile environments using ADO or GitHub.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs for external systems.
• Debug production issues independently.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional .NET development experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
• Hands-on experience migrating legacy ASP.NET applications to modern .NET frameworks.
• Experience with production SQL Server tasks and Azure services.
• 5+ years of delivering software in Agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with React, .NET 10, Power BI, or SSRS reporting.
• Knowledge of government, healthcare, or public-sector systems.
• Familiarity with ADA/WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
• Exposure to Azure AI services, middleware platforms, and PII data security protocols.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
