Job description

Senior Oracle Cloud Financials Technical Consultant (Reporting and OIC)

Location: Remote

Duration: 8+ months

Experience: 10+ years

Shift Timings: PST

Employment : Open to contractors but would prefer direct employees

Our client, a global enterprise based in California, is looking for a Senior Oracle Fusion technical developer with hands-on expertise in both reporting and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). You will serve as the Onsite Lead, working from the client side and overseeing all technical development and support activity. You will coordinate development with the system integrator’s offshore team. Focus areas are the financial modules and their integrations with upstream and downstream boundary systems. Expect a spike in support activity during month-end and month-end reconciliations.

Responsibilities

Lead technical development and support for the existing Oracle Cloud Financials (OCF) implementation across North America and EU regions
Support the Procure to Pay (PTP), Record to Report (RTR) and Order to Cash (OTC) modules, including migrating reports across environments and analyzing slow-performing jobs and reports
Support month-end integrations built with OIC and connected upstream and downstream boundary applications
Work with functional leads to translate functional requirements into technical design documentation
Troubleshoot production issues from a technical perspective and provide root cause analysis of OIC integration errors
Coordinate development, testing and defect resolution with the offshore team
Liaise with Oracle Support and third party vendors on escalations
Act as an extension of the client’s financial systems team to support the OCF rollout, working with the system integrator and coordinating support activities with business users and internal teams
Explain technical details in simple terms to stakeholders at every level of the organization


Requirements

10+ years of Oracle technical experience, including Oracle Cloud Financials
Hands on experience building and supporting Oracle Fusion reports, such as BI Publisher and OTBI
Hands on experience developing and supporting OIC integrations with upstream and downstream systems
Experience leading or coordinating offshore development teams
Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
