The role As the Service Agreement Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be driving the growth of our Service Agreement portfolio by identifying, developing, and securing new maintenance and service contract opportunities across the HVAC market.

Working closely with new and existing customers, you will build strong relationships, understand their operational needs, and provide tailored OEM service solutions that improve equipment reliability, performance, and lifecycle value.

Through a consultative sales approach, you will convert opportunities into long-term service partnerships while retaining and expanding existing agreements.

You will also collaborate with regional and local teams to support business development initiatives, promote Carrier's aftermarket service offerings, and identify new market opportunities.

Your success will be measured by your ability to grow recurring service revenue, increase market share, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes through long-term service agreements.

Key responsibilities
  • Drive the growth of the aftermarket business by identifying, developing, and securing new HVAC service agreement opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, delivering tailored service solutions that meet their operational needs.
  • Achieve sales targets by growing recurring service revenue and expanding the service agreement portfolio across assigned territories.
  • Partner with branch operations and service teams to identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities while ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations to develop long-term partnerships and secure profitable outcomes.
  • Monitor market trends, customer activity, and competitor insights to identify new opportunities and support business growth strategies.
  • Prepare accurate proposals, quotations, sales forecasts, and business development reports, ensuring all documentation is completed prior to operational handover.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to promote Carrier's aftermarket solutions, support regional growth initiatives, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Requirements
  • Sound knowledge and working in the HVAC industry minimum of 5-10 years
  • Demonstrated expertise in aftermarket sales, with a track record of success.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with internal and external customers effectively.
  • Ability to cross-sell and upsell within your base of customers, demonstrating excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities for proactive selling of service solutions.
  • Proficiency in utilising Microsoft-based computer software in a technical environment.
  • Comfortable working in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
  • Capability to sell directly to end-user customers.
  • Sound business judgment, assisting customers in making decisions regarding service solutions.
  • Self-motivated with excellent multitasking skills, able to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Strong goal orientation with exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
