Scrum Master with Security Clearance

Company: Precision Solutions / Supporting: Firetrail Position: Scrum Master Location: Washington D.C. | 5 Days a week, Onsite Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret Clearance Required Comp: Up to 130k + Benefits (Client will consider a slightly higher salary for very senior candidates) Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree Role Overview Our client is seeking a Scrum Master to support an Accenture engagement in downtown Washington, DC.

This role will work directly with an Agile development team to keep delivery moving, remove blockers, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and help translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories. The right person will be comfortable working across both Agile delivery and functional requirements, with the ability to help the team stay focused on quality, velocity, and sprint goals.

Key Responsibilities Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other team meetings
Guide the team through Agile and Lean-Agile practices
Identify blockers and work with the team to resolve or mitigate them
Help the team estimate work and maintain focus on sprint goals, quality, flow, and velocity
Gather functional requirements and translate them into user stories
Support testing of developed stories and overall application quality
Provide technical and functional support to application users
Develop and maintain documentation and training materials
Assist with data mapping and requirements analysis
Track and manage team activities through Jira
Required Qualifications Active Top Secret clearance required to start
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of professional experience, including internships
Experience working within Agile environments using Scrum and/or Kanban
Strong written communication and documentation skills
Experience gathering and documenting business or functional requirements
Ability to work onsite in downtown Washington, DC 5 days per week
Preferred Experience Experience creating and monitoring tasks in Jira
Application or software requirements gathering experience
Experience supporting software development teams
Background working in Agile project delivery environments
