The Role

• Manage naval architecture aspects of major aircraft carrier program systems integration.
• Develop and establish engineering policy for compliance by project engineers, PARMs/ISEAs, and contractors.
• Plan, design, and report on high-risk engineering operations for system and aircraft carrier design.
• Represent the organization on engineering policy matters related to system of systems integration and ship integration.
• Plan and manage complex programs for ship design, maintenance, repair, modernization, and development.
• Evaluate and incorporate the latest developments in Naval Architecture and Engineering Systems.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in a professional engineering discipline accredited by ABET, or equivalent coursework and experience.
• Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or Professional Engineer (PE) is highly desirable.
• At least one year of specialized experience in managing systems engineering projects for ship or ship system design, development, or maintenance.
• Experience with aircraft carrier programs and systems integration is a plus.
• Ability to pass a SECRET security clearance investigation.
• Proficiency in planning and managing complex engineering programs.
