Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI, Excel, SQL, dashboard development, and regulatory compliance reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing data, developing insightful dashboards, and generating regulatory and management reports to support business decision-making and compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Extract, transform, and analyze data using SQL from multiple data sources.
• Prepare management reports, KPI scorecards, and executive-level dashboards.
• Develop and automate reporting processes using Excel Pivot Tables, Power Query, Advanced Formulas, and preferred VBA.
• Generate and validate regulatory compliance reports ensuring data accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Work closely with business users, compliance teams, and technology teams to support reporting requirements.
• Conduct data quality checks and perform root cause analysis for data discrepancies.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and reporting solutions.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure successful implementation of reporting solutions.
• Create process documentation, Business Requirement Documents (BRD), and reporting guidelines.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Power BI, Data Modeling, DAX, Power Query, and Dashboard Development.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including Joins, Views, Stored Procedures, and Query Optimization.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, and Macros.
• Experience in dashboard design, KPI reporting, and data visualization best practices.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Experience in preparing and validating regulatory and compliance reports.
• Strong capability in requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in business process analysis and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
