Systems Engineer Consultant II

Allstate is seeking a Systems Engineer Consultant II to design, implement, and support secure, scalable systems powering our finance and insurance platforms. In this role, you'll architect and optimize hybrid and cloud infrastructure, automate deployments and monitoring, and resolve complex incidents to ensure availability and performance. You'll collaborate with architects, developers, and security teams, bringing strong systems engineering, scripting, and cloud skills. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support secure, highly available systems for Allstate's finance and insurance platforms
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and security teams to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions
• Automate deployments, monitoring, and incident response to improve reliability and performance
• Troubleshoot complex system issues across on-prem and cloud environments
• Document architectures, standards, and runbooks to ensure operational excellence
• Contribute to continuous improvement, mentoring junior engineers and sharing best practices
