Title: Technical Training Manager (On-site)
Location: Tallahassee, FL || Duration: Long-Term

Required Skills and Experience

* A minimum of 7 years of Training (including curriculum development for IT and instructional technology) experience.
* Minimum 2 or more years of training management experience.
* Knowledge of ERP systems, business process transformation, and enterprise software implementations.
* Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, or similar), and learning technologies.
* Experience supporting large private sector, public sector, or government technology modernization initiatives.
* Knowledge of curriculum development, technical writing, and training program management.
* Development of job aids, quick reference guides, videos, and multimedia learning materials.
* Advanced curriculum development and instructional design skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

* Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, or similar platforms.
* Ability to create/harness harmony amongst team members.
* Ability to keep stakeholders informed appropriately.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Able to work onsite in Tallahassee, Florida.
* Excellent general documentation skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively with audiences ranging from executive leadership to end users.
* Experience interacting with functional groups within the Accounting organization to communicate and clarify customer requirements.
* Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Experience using SharePoint for collaboration and document management.
* Experience working under general direction of senior level management.
* Ability to identify training gaps and develop solutions that improve workforce readiness.
* Experience working with the State or with other governments similar in size in terms of annual budget and full-time equivalent (FTE) employee count.
* Knowledge and/or experience with the Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) subsystem.
* Knowledge and application of Finance and Accounting practices
* Knowledge of Florida PALM project
* Knowledge and application of State of Florida financial, accounting, budgeting, procurement, or grants management processes.
* Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Track record of taking responsibility for end-to-end execution of tasks/assignments.
* Demonstrated experience leading training initiatives.
* Certification in Project Management (PMP), Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), ATD, Prosci Change Management, or related professional certifications is desirable.

Education

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Equivalent professional experience may substitute for degree requirements.
