IS Technician III

HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, seeks an experienced IS Technician III to support IT systems for industrial and energy operations. This role installs, configures, and maintains desktops, mobile devices, networking equipment, and field technology used in plants and remote sites. The technician troubleshoots hardware, software, and connectivity issues, ensures data security and backups, and documents work in ticketing systems. Working in a safety-first, team-oriented environment, this position partners closely with operations to keep mission-critical systems reliable and compliant in demanding field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices for field and plant users
• Support and troubleshoot network connectivity and related hardware in industrial environments
• Resolve software, hardware, and access issues via tickets and on-site support
• Maintain data security, backups, and user permission standards per company policies
• Document incidents, changes, and configurations in IT ticketing and asset systems
• Coordinate with operations and safety teams to support reliable field technology
• Assist with deployment and upgrades of IT and communications systems at facilities
• Provide user training on basic IT tools, security practices, and equipment use
