The Role

• Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs, including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, depending on your expertise, referred by local authorities and schools.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Work in person, remotely, or on a hybrid basis.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for young people with diverse learning needs.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (facilitation provided).
• UK residency with the right to work in the UK.
