Job Description

Global Health, a Foyer Group company, is a dynamic and innovative international health insurance provider committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions to our customers. We pride ourselves on embracing digital advancements to enhance our products and services. As we continue to evolve, we are seeking a motivated and organised Trainee to join us for a 6-month placement, helping bring structure and visibility to how project, requests, tickets, and changes are managed across the business.


Internship agreement required, for a minimum duration of 6 months


As part of the development of the Actuarial reserving & reporting Department, we are looking for a motivated Actuarial Intern eager to apply and further develop their skills in a stimulating and rewarding environment.


Your Responsibilities

1. Statistical Analysis of Insurance Products

• Collect, structure, and analyze data related to various insurance products (motor, home, health, life, etc.).

• Perform quantitative analyses to identify trends, assess product performance, and evaluate profitability.

• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to support decision-making processes.


2. Monitoring Product Portfolio Dynamics

• Design and implement monitoring tools to track the evolution of insurance products over time (volumes, premiums, claims, lapse rates, etc.).

• Ensure data quality, reliability, and regular updates.

• Present findings through clear reports and visualizations for internal stakeholders.


3. Predictive Modeling

• Contribute to the development of statistical and actuarial models aimed at forecasting portfolio evolution and customer behavior.

• Incorporate economic, demographic, and competitive variables into forecasting analyses.

• Conduct simulations and scenario analyses to assess their potential impact on product performance.


4. Critical Review of Assumptions

• Evaluate the relevance and consistency of assumptions used in analyses and models (growth rates, claims frequency, customer behavior, etc.).

• Identify potential biases and propose adjustments to improve forecast accuracy and robustness.

• Document assumptions and justify methodological choices to relevant stakeholders.



Your Profile

• You are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are comfortable working with complex datasets.

• You enjoy teamwork and collaborating within a multidisciplinary environment.

• You are rigorous, well-organized, and detail-oriented.

• Proficiency in data processing and analytical tools is considered an asset.

• Fluent in English, French is a plus.
