Data Consultant (Level 3)

Introduction:

The Data Consultant (Level 3) role involves providing critical end-to-end production support for metric reporting routines. The reports and dashboards created are shared with senior executives both within and outside the organization to drive proper risk culture and business strategy. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and proficiency in data analytics.

Responsibilities:

• The role involves data analytics responsibilities such as trending analysis, success analytics, and identifying areas of discrepancy and at-risk controls.
• Data mining, data aggregation, business metrics, SPI inventory output analysis, risk program metrics analysis, and performance/milestone analytics are key responsibilities.
• Ensuring the accuracy and quality of report dashboards and executive summaries for senior executives.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of advanced Excel skills
• 5+ years of moderate-to-advanced SQL skills
• 7+ years of data mining experience
• 7+ years of analytics experience
• Consistent, timely delivery of reporting requirements using macros and code
• Proactive identification and fixing of code/macro breaks
• Ability to capture, manipulate, and clean data from multiple sources
• Effective prioritization of workbench deliverables
• Experience in a highly regulated industry or financial institution
• Interaction with senior level managers
• Creation of dashboard reports or analytics

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior client experience

Primary Skill:

• Excel (advanced functions, power queries, macros/VBA)

Secondary Skill:

• Moderate/advanced SQL
