The Role

• Manage and administer Red Cross services to meet the needs of U.S. military members, veterans, and their families.
• Build strong relationships with military leadership, key organizations, and community leaders to further the Red Cross mission.
• Manage a volunteer engagement program to ensure the delivery of Red Cross programs and services.
• Provide supervision of volunteer service delivery staff and coordinate services with military treatment facilities and VA hospitals.
• Develop and manage budgets and expenditures, and monitor program outcomes and results.
• Support the delivery of International Services programs and services as needed.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management or a related field.
• Strong computer, public speaking, and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in team environments.
• Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt to changing situations.
• Must meet strict medical and security clearances as worldwide deployment is a condition of employment.
