Alarm Technician | Queens, NY, United States | On-site

They are seeking a skilled technician to join their dedicated service team.

The Role

  • Respond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve application issues, working both individually and as part of a team.
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize application availability and identify system faults.
  • Perform routine configuration changes, such as user permissions and application settings.
  • Document all system modifications using a digital change control tracking system.
  • Conduct pre-deployment testing and on-site installations of software upgrades.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.
  • Experience with specific fire alarm systems (e.g., Bosch, Silent Knight) is highly preferred; other systems are a plus.
  • NICET certification or State Fire License is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of network communications and IP addressing.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and time management skills.
