The Role • Provide essential mechanical engineering support across complex platform systems, equipment, and critical marine services. • Contribute engineering expertise to multiple projects, including major naval programmes and international initiatives. • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define and manage platform system requirements. • Maintain the integrity of systems design within diverse engineering contexts, encompassing various classes and deployments. • Conduct investigations, impact assessments, and integration analyses to support evidence-based technical decision-making. • Ensure the safe and efficient implementation of design changes while meticulously managing configuration control and system integration. What You'll Need • Extensive knowledge of complex platform systems within both UK and international markets. • A strong understanding of relevant industry standards and governance frameworks (CSM, LCM). • The ability to rapidly and confidently apply mechanical engineering principles to a broad spectrum of platform systems and equipment. • Professional engineer status at CEng level or equivalent demonstrated capability. • Proven experience in providing effective technical guidance and influence, with a capacity for technical oversight and professional development support.
