From creating solutions for our clients to building careers for our people, we shape what matters , and that's where you come in.About the RoleOur national Audit Professional Practice Department (APPD) is expanding and as such we are looking for a Project Manager to lead and coordinate key operational and strategic projects across APPD, with a particular focus on IFRS and Corporate Reporting Assurance, Technology Risk Assurance, and Learning and Development.This position is responsible for overseeing project planning, resource coordination, workflow management, stakeholder engagement, and delivery tracking to support the effective execution of departmental priorities.Duties and Responsibilities:Lead the project coordination for the Technology Risk Assurance Team (TRA), including IS Audit and Data & Analytics initiativesLead the project coordination for IFRS & Corporate Reporting Assurance, including management of the financial statements review register and allocation of reviews through Monday.comManage the Learning and Development initiatives across APPD including planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, tracking deliverables, and supporting the execution of training and capability uplift prioritiesCoordinate onboarding and offboarding activities for new joiners and secondeesCoordinate leadership meetings, prepare project updates and papers, capture actions, and track follow through to support timely decision making and deliveryManage logistics for events, conferences, and offsite meetings where required to support project delivery and team coordination.Drive APPD initiatives by coordinating project plans, tracking deliverables, managing risks and dependencies, and supporting the preparation of reports, presentations, and dashboardsPrepare and quality review internal and client facing materials, including project documentation, presentations, reports, and briefing papersSupport project administration activities and provide broader project and operational support as neededAbout YouThe Project Manager plays a central role in driving progress across multiple initiatives, maintaining visibility of milestones and actions, and ensuring strong coordination between the APPD team and key stakeholders nationally.Our ideal candidate has prior experience in a similar position and demonstrates strong coordination capability, with the drive, ownership, and follow through needed to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes.You will also need the following attributes:Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groupsStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain oversight of multiple moving partsWell developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectivelyAbility to manage competing deadlines, prioritise effectively, and maintain momentum under pressureStrong organisational and planning skills, including the ability to identify risks, track actions, and drive progress to completionWhy BDO?Working for BDO you will be part of a growing and market leading professional services firm.Our national and global footprint provides our people with opportunities to work on interesting client engagements, across diverse industry sectors and services.Our open and collaborative culture ensures access to Partners and professional mentors, to guide and accelerate your professional career, across a wide array of career pathways.We provide our people with various health and wellbeing, social, financial, and professional development benefits to help realise what's possible.Participate in fitness challenges or take advantage of exclusive discounts to corporate health insurance, gym memberships and wellness facilities via our BWell program.
