Job Description

Position:- Program/Operations Manager – Hardware Accessories
Location: Mountain View, CA(Onsite)
Type:- Fulltime

 

We are looking for a Program/Operations Manager with experience in consumer electronics, hardware program management, partner operations, or technical program management.

This role is a balanced combination of partner operations, contract/program management, and technical hardware lifecycle execution. Approximately 50% of the role focuses on technical certification, stage-gates, testing validation, and lifecycle management for cellphone screen protection and related hardware accessories. The remaining 50% involves partner management, agreements, executive reporting, readiness tracking, logistics, and operational execution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Partner Operations & Contract Management

  • Manage partner operational workflows, including Exhibit A, Exhibit B, SOWs, and NDAs.
  • Coordinate security/compliance gates and CAD distribution.
  • Manage partner communications, deliverables, and operational escalations.

Executive Reporting & Communication

  • Create VP/Director-level presentations, program status reports, milestone scorecards, and risk registers.
  • Translate complex technical and operational information into clear executive-level updates.
  • Prepare leadership briefings and program readouts.

Screen Protection & Technical Certification

  • Drive technical certification and Gate 3 testing milestones.
  • Coordinate testing for display and biometric compatibility.
  • Manage ball-drop, scratch, reliability, and other validation testing.
  • Track and triage partner defect logs and drive resolution.

Hardware Program Management & NPI

  • Manage hardware development and NPI lifecycle activities.
  • Track annual refresh schedules and net-new category launches.
  • Maintain critical paths, milestones, dependencies, and schedule risks.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve blockers.

Logistics, Dogfooding & Operations

  • Forecast and manage NCU sample demand.
  • Coordinate sample logistics and internal dogfooding/user trials.
  • Track POs, incentives, samples, and partner deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate master trackers and operational data.

Market Research & Portfolio Strategy

  • Conduct competitive and market gap analysis.
  • Identify regional market opportunities.
  • Research and evaluate potential OEM/ODM and accessory partners.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in:
    • Partner Operations
    • Technical Program Management (TPM)
    • Hardware Project Management
    • Consumer Electronics Lifecycle Management
  • Experience managing multi-step operational workflows involving SOWs, Exhibits, NDAs, security/compliance gates, and partner processes.
  • Strong experience creating executive-ready PowerPoint / Google Slides presentations.
  • Experience with hardware development lifecycles and stage-gate processes such as NPI, EVT, DVT, PVT, and Gate 3 certification.
  • Experience working with Tier-1 brands, OEMs, ODMs, suppliers, or external partners.
  • Strong ability to manage deliverables, operational syncs, escalations, and cross-functional blockers.
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, and/or similar workflow tools.
  • Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
