Job description

I am sourcing an experienced HR Buiness Partner for a 12 month FTC - MAT cover based in Hereford.

Onsite working 37.5 hours per week.

I'm looking for a confident, hands-on HR Manager who knows their way around a busy operational environment, isn't afraid to challenge the status quo and can balance the people stuff with the commercial reality of running a large site.

This is a brilliant opportunity to partner with a site leadership team, lead a talented HR team and make a genuine difference to the employee experience.

You'll be the go-to HR partner for the site, working closely with leaders and managers to keep things running smoothly, solve people challenges and drive improvements.

HR Business Partner Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing credible, commercially minded HR advice at all levels.
  • Navigating complex ER cases, employment law and those tricky conversations.
  • Leading restructures, organisational change and changes to terms and conditions.
  • Building constructive partnerships and supporting union meetings and employee forums.
  • Driving engagement, retention, recruitment planning and onboarding.
  • Building capability, developing talent and supporting succession planning.
  • Keeping people processes on track, monitoring compliance and supporting audits.
  • Leading, coaching and developing your onsite HR team to deliver a fantastic service.

HR Business Partner Skill Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager within manufacturing or another fast-paced operational environment.
  • CIPD Level 5 or above.
  • Strong employment law knowledge and confidence handling complex employee relations.
  • Experience leading significant change projects and working with trade unions.
  • A natural people leader who can influence, challenge and build relationships at every level.
  • Someone resilient, organised and commercially aware, who can juggle competing priorities without losing sight of what matters.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or similar
