Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
Position Summary :

• The Scrum Master for Digital Projects at Commercial BI&T will be responsible for facilitating and guiding the Agile development process for our initiatives.
• This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers, and product owners, to ensure the successful delivery of Digital projects. The Scrum Master will help the team adhere to Agile principles, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Project Description :

• Large-scale, multi-region Foundational Data Transformation program migrating fragmented commercial pharma data warehouses onto a governed Databricks platform. The program consolidates enterprise data sources (sales, market access, patient services, omni-channel, and master data) into standardized, AI-ready data products across US, EU, and other global markets, and rebuilds existing analytics pipelines to new data modeling standards.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Facilitate Agile Processes:

• Scrum Ceremonies: Organize and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Sprint Planning: Assist the team in defining sprint goals, planning tasks, and estimating effort for each sprint.
• Backlog Management: Work with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is well-groomed, prioritized, and ready for upcoming sprints.

2.Team Support and Coaching:

• Agile Coaching: Coach team members on Agile principles and practices, helping them to understand and adopt Scrum methodologies.
• Remove Impediments: Identify and remove any impediments or obstacles that may hinder the team's progress.
• Foster Collaboration: Promote a collaborative team environment where open communication, trust, and respect are encouraged.

3.Project Coordination:

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment and integration of projects.
• Stakeholder Communication : Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

4.Continuous Improvement:

• Retrospectives: Facilitate sprint retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable plans to enhance team performance.
• Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve Agile processes and practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

5.Performance Tracking and Reporting:

• Metrics and KPIs: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure team performance and project progress.
• Progress Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.

6.Risk Management:

• Risk Identification : Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
• Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP) is a plus.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Technical/data background with long track record of experience as a Scrum Master. Proven track record of successfully delivering data/analytics-focused projects. Pharma GxP software development experience preferred
• Agile Expertise: Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and best practices.
• Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and engage stakeholders.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, assess risks, and develop solutions.
• Facilitation Skills: Ability to facilitate meetings, discussions, and decision-making processes effectively.

Working Conditions:

• Work Environment: Office-based with potential for remote work and occasional travel to project sites or other company locations.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a standard office environment, using a computer and other office equipment.

The hourly rate for this position is between $75 - $76 per hour.
