Job Description

Apply a strong working knowledge of FEMA GRAS raw materials and their appropriate use in flavor formulations.
Create diverse flavor profiles that meet target physical, chemical, and organoleptic performance specifications.
Develop production-viable flavor formulations that conform to established technical parameters, regulatory guidelines, and customer specific market requirements.
Provides analytical and organoleptic support to the Quality Control department with the assessments of raw materials and finished flavors.
Proficient ability to duplicate flavor profiles utilizing sensory evaluation, analytical data, and expert knowledge of raw material functionality.
Conduct flavor training and provide technical support to sales and customers, including the presentation of flavor concepts and product demonstrations.
Bachelor"s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science or an equivalent area.
Completion of a recognized Flavorist training program -Flavor creation and formulation for complex matrices/applications -Demonstrated ability to independently create, optimize, and commercialize flavor formulations with limited supervision.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, formula management systems, and Enterprise Resource planning software.
