SRE Cloud Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SRE Cloud Developer to build and enhance cloud-native solutions on AWS. This role focuses on cloud development, infrastructure automation, application modernization, observability, and platform reliability.

The ideal candidate will have strong AWS development experience, hands-on expertise with AWS CDK and TypeScript, and a solid understanding of cloud migration and SRE best practices.

Key Responsibilities

•           Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
•           Design and build cloud-native applications and platform services on AWS.
•           Support application migration and modernization initiatives.
•           Develop solutions that process and transform data from multiple event and messaging sources.
•           Implement monitoring, observability, and reliability best practices.
•          Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, and application teams to improve  service availability and performance.  

Required Qualifications

•           Strong experience with AWS cloud development.
•           Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and TypeScript.
•           Experience with cloud migration and modernization projects.
•           Knowledge of AWS services spanning compute, storage, networking, messaging, and data platforms.
•           Experience with messaging services such as SQS, SNS, or Kinesis.
•           Understanding of observability tools, CloudWatch, and SRE concepts including SLOs and SLIs.
•           Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

•           Experience with Glue, Athena, and Lake Formation.
•           Knowledge of resilience and reliability engineering practices.
•           Exposure to financial services environments, FIX protocol, or trading platforms.
•           Experience building event-driven architectures and API-based solutions.
