MLD Teacher | Taunton, Somerset / Bristol, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We partner with schools and local authorities to provide impactful educational support, focusing on students with special educational and mental health needs. The Role

• Provide tailored Maths, English, or Science tuition to students with SEND and SEMH needs, including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 with flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons, reporting on student progress with regular feedback.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.
• Offer in-person, remote, or hybrid teaching arrangements to suit your preference.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, with experience in SEND/SEMH preferred.
• Familiarity with teaching core subjects (Maths, English, Science).
• Enhanced DBS check (can be facilitated).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and creating a safe learning environment.
