Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Operations Lead to manage and support enterprise cloud environments, with Google Cloud Platform as the primary platform and AWS as secondary.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GKE/EKS, Argo CD, GitOps, GitLab CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, automation, and production troubleshooting.

This is a highly hands-on role involving production support, major incident management, root cause analysis, automation, and team leadership. The candidate must be comfortable working in an on-call environment and responding to critical production issues.

Required Skills

• 7–10+ years of experience in Cloud Operations, SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience.
• Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience, preferably GKE.
• Expert-level hands-on experience with Argo CD and GitOps.
• Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD.
• Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong understanding of cloud and enterprise networking.
• Working knowledge of databases and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting.
• Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Strong monitoring and observability experience.
• Proven experience handling production incidents, RCA, PIR, and on-call support.
• 3+ years of leadership, mentoring, or team management experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS/EKS experience.
• ITIL/ITIL v4 certification.
• Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect or Associate Cloud Engineer certification.
• CKA, CKAD, or GitOps certification.
• Experience with PagerDuty, Opsgenie, ServiceNow, or Jira Service Management.
• Experience with cloud security and IAM.
• Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Cloud Operations/SRE/DevOps Lead who combines strong technical troubleshooting skills with leadership experience.
