Job Description

Role : Cloud Operations Lead
Location : Remote
Experience: 7–10 Years

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical escalation point for infrastructure, network, database, and cloud-related production issues.
Troubleshoot Google Cloud Platform/AWS, Kubernetes, application deployments, and infrastructure issues.
Troubleshoot Argo CD synchronization, GitOps deployment failures, and application rollouts.
Support and troubleshoot GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Perform real-time analysis using logs, metrics, monitoring, and observability tools.
Lead Major Incident Management (MIM) and act as an Incident Commander during critical outages.
Coordinate technical teams to drive rapid resolution and minimize MTTR.
Conduct RCA and Post-Incident Reviews (PIRs) and implement corrective actions.
Manage on-call rotations, escalation procedures, and production support.
Monitor and maintain SLA, SLO, and OLA commitments.
Support Change Management, Release Management, Event Management, and Capacity Planning.
Automate repetitive operational tasks using Python, Bash, Terraform, or Ansible.
Troubleshoot complex distributed and multi-tier environments.
Lead and mentor cloud operations, DevOps, or SRE team members.
Work with cloud providers and vendors to resolve technical issues.
Identify and address cloud security and infrastructure risks.

Required Skills

7–10 years of Cloud Operations / DevOps / SRE / Infrastructure experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with AWS is preferred.
Strong Kubernetes experience, including GKE/EKS.
Expert hands-on experience with Argo CD and GitOps.
Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD.
Good knowledge of Linux administration and cloud networking.
Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, VPCs, routing, and load balancers.
Database administration and performance troubleshooting experience.
Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
Scripting experience with Python and/or Bash.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, CloudWatch, or Google Cloud Monitoring.
Strong understanding of cloud IAM and security best practices.
Experience with Incident Management, RCA, ITSM, and production support.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
