Project Manager / Scrum Master – BI & Data Analytics

This is a 100% remote position. Candidates must currently reside in Wisconsin and work remotely from within the state.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Agile teams supporting BI, data warehousing, ETL, data conversion, and MDM initiatives.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

• Manage multiple JIRA boards for project delivery and ongoing operational activities.

• Track sprint progress, deliverables, dependencies, resource requirements, risks, and issues.

• Remove impediments, resolve roadblocks, and improve team productivity and accountability.

• Apply Agile and traditional project management practices based on project requirements and business needs.

• Monitor daily work, review deliverable quality, and escalate issues affecting scope, timelines, resources, or quality.

• Provide credible leadership to technical teams working on data integration, data architecture, data modeling, data quality, and data governance.

• Evaluate project risks and coordinate timely resolution of technical and operational challenges.

• Coach and mentor team members and promote collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.

• Build strong stakeholder relationships and maintain confidence in project delivery.

• Support the implementation and adoption of SAFe practices, where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of overall IT experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, leading teams supporting ETL, data conversion, and/or MDM.

• Proven experience managing multiple Agile teams in BI and data warehousing environments.

• Strong technical understanding of data management, data integration, data warehousing, and analytics.

• Hands-on experience with JIRA or equivalent Agile project management tools, including managing multiple Scrum boards.

• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile methodologies, and traditional project management principles.

• Experience managing project deliverables, resources, risks, dependencies, and escalations.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

• At least one active, relevant certification in Scrum, Agile, Project Management, or SAFe is mandatory. Candidates must provide a copy of their current, valid certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing or working with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).

• Experience supporting enterprise data lakes, data governance, and data quality initiatives.

• Experience balancing project delivery with production support and operational priorities.
