QA Automation Engineer-w2-Onsite in Elk Grove, CA

Job Description/ Responsibilities/ Years of experience:
* 6+ years’ experience in Software Development / Testing with Strong business analytical skills to understand the critical business flows for an application.
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for REST APIs and web applications using Selenium and Python.
* Build and execute test automation strategies for Voice/VoIP/SIP-based systems and features.
* Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across the application stack.
* Write and optimize SQL queries to validate data integrity and support test case design.
* Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster release cycles.
* Use Git for version control and collaborative test code management.
* Monitor and troubleshoot application logs using Splunk to identify and diagnose defects.
* Conduct accessibility testing to ensure compliance with relevant standards (WCAG or equivalent).
* Manage and track defects/incidents through ITSM tools as part of the QA lifecycle.
* Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans.
* Clearly communicate test results, risks, and quality metrics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
