About our client
This is a broad and commercially focused role, offering exposure across the full fund finance lifecycle. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a wide range of activities, including investor reporting and queries, cash management, capital calls and distributions, fund accounting, and liaising closely with third-party administrators and other external service providers. Reporting directly to Senior Management, the role provides excellent visibility across the business and the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders. What the job involves
- Oversee the day-to-day fund administration activities, working closely with third-party fund administrators to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of services
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual fund financial statements, investor reporting, and partner statements
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax advisers, coordinating year-end audits and tax compliance processes
- Manage investor queries, providing a high level of service to Limited Partners and responding to requests in a timely manner
- Monitor and manage fund cash positions, ensuring effective liquidity and treasury management across the fund structures
- Coordinate capital calls, drawdowns, and distributions, liaising with Limited Partners and the Fund Finance provider to ensure smooth execution
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial information, ensuring robust controls and high-quality reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen internal controls across the finance function
- Support the wider finance team on strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects as required within a lean and collaborative environment
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (or equivalent)
- Previous experience within fund accounting
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong analytical mindset and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Highly engaging and collaborative
- Ability to build strong relationships across a broad range of service providers, advisers, and internal stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively
- Confident working with a diverse range of stakeholders and comfortable managing relationships across all levels of an organisation
