Description
We are seeking a Lead Platform Engineer for a contract position in Evansville, IN. The role involves establishing and maintaining performance objectives, improving service quality, and collaborating with teams to deliver stable systems. Candidates should have experience in monitoring and observability technologies. Collaborate to establish availability and performance objectives.

Interpret technical needs and adjust platforms accordingly. Serve as a senior technical contributor ensuring monitoring reliability. Guide platform evolution and improve service quality. Mentor and provide technical leadership to engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
Establish platform SLOs and reliability metrics. Lead observability design efforts for monitoring platforms. Perform advanced configuration and automation. Reduce manual operations through automation. Define and maintain network-monitoring standards. Qualifications
Expertise in monitoring and observability engineering. Ability to define objectives and implement improvements. Hands-on experience with automation tools. Experience with observability practices and incident response. Strong communication and mentoring skills.
