Urgent need on Sr DevOps Engineer, MA

Position: Sr DevOps Engineer/SRE

Location: Boston, MA (ONSITE)

Duration: 6-12 months

NOTE: NEED TO GO FOR F2F INTERVIEW

Position Summary

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) for application, data and infrastructure code
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation or Bicep)
• Build and operate containerized platforms on Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) and Docker, including Helm charts and GitOps tooling such as Argo CD
• Automate environment provisioning, configuration and release processes to cut manual steps and deployment lead time
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting (Datadog, PrometheGrafana, Splunk or CloudWatch) and define SLOs for critical services
• Embed security into the pipeline: secrets management, image and dependency scanning, IAM least privilege and policy-as-code
• Support change management, audit trails and evidence collection that meet financial-services regulatory and internal controls
• Partner with data engineering teams on deployment of data pipelines and platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow)
• Participate in on-call rotation, incident response and blameless post-incident reviews
• Document runbooks and architecture, and coach Geode and Mastek engineers on DevOps practices

Required qualifications

• 11+ years in DevOps, site reliability or cloud platform engineering roles
• Hands-on production experience with AWS or Azure (compute, networking, IAM, storage)
• Strong Infrastructure as Code skills with Terraform or an equivalent tool
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines end to end
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker in production
• Scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell
• Solid Linux administration and networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, TLS, VPC/VNet design)
• Experience with Git-based workflows, code review and branching strategies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in asset management, banking or other regulated financial-services environments
• Familiarity with SOC 2, SOX or similar control frameworks and audit evidence
• Exposure to data platform DevOps: Snowflake, Databricks, dbt or Airflow deployments
• Policy-as-code and security tooling (OPA, Checkov, Snyk, Wiz, HashiCorp Vault)
• Certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, CKA/CKAD or HashiCorp Terraform Associate
• Prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience
