The Role • Providing mechanical engineering support across diverse platform systems, equipment, and critical marine services. • Delivering engineering input to multiple projects, including complex platforms and international programmes. • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to clarify and manage platform system requirements. • Maintaining systems design integrity across varied engineering contexts and programme deployments. • Supporting investigations, impact assessments, and analyses to enable evidence-based technical decisions. • Ensuring safe and efficient implementation of design changes while maintaining configuration control. What You'll Need • Broad knowledge of complex platform systems within UK and international markets. • Strong understanding of applicable industry standards and governance frameworks. • Proven ability to apply mechanical engineering knowledge confidently to a wide range of platforms and projects. • Experienced professional engineer at Chartered Engineer (CEng) level or equivalent capability. • Ability to provide effective technical guidance and influence, supporting junior engineers. • Understanding of security and export control restrictions may apply.
