The Chief Financial Officer position is accountable for the administrative, financial and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of financial and operational strategies, metrics tied to those strategies and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.
Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic and tactical business plans
Develop financial and tax strategies
Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company's strategic direction
Operations
Manage the accounting, human resources, risk management, legal, and tax functions
Direct all acquisition and divestiture due diligence and negotiations
Financial
Oversee all financial reporting and issuance of required financial information to constituents
Responsible for all banking relationships and capital structure
Monitor cash balances and maintain current cash forecasts
Risk Management
Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry
Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
The candidate for Chief Financial Officer must be a leader and have an MBA with a well-rounded knowledge of accounting, finance, operations and real estate with at least 10+ years of demonstrated career advancement in a mid-sized company or division of a large corporation.
Will work in an office environment. Travel to company locations outside of Arizona will be necessary, as well as for aviation-related events. Guiding oneself with little or no supervision and depending on oneself to get things done IAW acceptable techniques and methods.
