Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager, Non-Technical to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in capital markets, client data management, and cross-functional program delivery and a proven ability to lead complex workstreams, manage risk, and deliver front-to-back transformation outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic solutions for best-in-class management of client static data across Markets, including scalable processes to mask client data.
- Own and lead project workstreams to define and deliver business case requirements within agreed timelines.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across levels and functions, build consensus, and secure stakeholder buy-in while managing expectations and removing roadblocks.
- Collaborate with Front Office Desks, Technology, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to align on requirements and deliverables.
- Develop detailed multi-workstream project plans with scope, timelines, dependencies, and critical path analysis.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues. Define escalation paths and contingency plans. Communicate status to senior stakeholders and document escalations.
- Prepare concise PowerPoint materials for weekly reporting and monthly governance, tailored to the audience, covering achievements, risks, issues, and milestones.
- Comply with CPMC standards, maintain accurate data in the Project Tracking System, and ensure complete audit-ready documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of project management experience in major institutions such as Tier 1 banks or Top 4 consulting firms.
- Strong capital markets knowledge across asset classes, including Equities, Fixed Income, FX, and Commodities.
- Client Data Management expertise with understanding of front-to-back Markets client data flows and impacted systems and processes.
- Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint for data visualization and executive-ready presentations.
- High proficiency in MS Excel for large data sets to identify, report, and drive change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated risk identification and mitigation in financial markets contexts.
- Proven stakeholder management, influence, and consensus-building across large, complex teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Regulatory or Client Data Management programs within Markets.
- Broad Markets experience operating across asset classes with understanding of front-to-back flows.
