Position Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for our sales team, driving revenue growth, developing sales strategies, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role oversees recruiting, training, coaching, and performance management while maintaining strong relationships with residential and commercial customers. The Sales Manager works closely with operations and leadership to achieve company sales goals and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new sales representatives. Coach and mentor sales staff to improve performance and close rates. Conduct regular ride-alongs, field coaching, and performance evaluations. Set individual and team sales goals. Hold weekly sales meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions. Foster a positive, results-driven team culture. Sales & Business Development
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share. Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives. Maintain relationships with key customers, builders, property managers, and contractors. Review and approve proposals, estimates, and contracts. Monitor sales pipeline and forecast monthly and annual revenue. Customer Service
Ensure customers receive professional, timely communication throughout the sales process. Resolve customer concerns and escalated issues. Maintain high customer satisfaction and encourage referrals and repeat business. Operations Coordination
Collaborate with production, estimating, and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution. Communicate customer expectations and project details accurately. Monitor project progress and customer follow-up. Reporting & Administration
Maintain accurate CRM records. Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including: Sales revenue Close ratio Lead conversion Average job value Customer satisfaction Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports. Assist in budgeting and sales forecasting. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred. 3–5 years of sales management experience, preferably in roofing or construction. Strong knowledge of residential and commercial roofing systems. Proven ability to lead and develop a successful sales team. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Skills
Insurance restoration sales knowledge. Construction estimating experience. Public speaking and presentation skills. Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities. Physical Requirements
Ability to travel to customer locations and jobsites. Ability to climb ladders. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Starting Pay: $100,000 + 1% Monthly Management Override
