Job Description

Marriott is seeking a Payroll Human Resources Generalist to support associates in our dynamic hospitality environment. In this role, you will manage end-to-end payroll processing, HRIS data, and benefits administration for hotel staff, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with wage and hour laws. You will serve as a key HR contact, handling onboarding, records management, and employee inquiries while partnering with hotel leaders. Responsibilities

  • Process biweekly payroll accurately for hotel associates, including tips, overtime, and adjustments
  • Maintain HRIS and employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Administer benefits enrollment, changes, and leave tracking
  • Resolve payroll and HR inquiries from managers and associates in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage, hour, and labor regulations
  • Reconcile payroll reports and support audits and month-end processes
  • Support onboarding, I-9 verification, and new hire documentation
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership and corporate HR on HR initiatives and policy implementation
  • Prepare HR and payroll reports to support operations and decision-making
  • Identify process improvements to enhance payroll and HR service delivery
